Platinum was also a very slow game. most of battles were a chore. Platinum has the Battle Frontier and quite a few new areas after the E4, but HG/SS also has the Battle Frontier and of course way more stuff after the E4. Platinum's new weird dimension thing was awesome, for like 5 minutes until you FINISH THE PUZZLE AND NEVER EVER GO BACK. Platinum is great; the mythos is interesting, Cyrus is a good villain, the Distortion World was amazing, the post-game was good, the story is above average, and Sinnoh is an awesome region. 4th favorite Pokémon game overall, behind White, White 2, and Omega Ruby. So I've been playing Pokemon Platinum for awhile,then I was told to get Soul Silver because it ''supposedly'' has more Pokemon,is this true?I've looked Of course, Soul Silver is a lot newer than Platinum is which would explain the extreme change in graphics, but def. go with Soul Silver if you like good graphics and game play.-Storyline: In my opinion, the storyline in Soul Silver beats Platinum by far.
